Two recipes to do with toddlers

We made Christmas cookies today and I have to tell you something this was my first time making Christmas cookies. and you know what ? Sofi makes them definitely better than me, she is an artist 😂 I am so bad decorating cookies 😂😂 well this is one of the best activities I've done with Sofi. She was happy eating and making a mess with mommy.

Today I want to share 2 recipes that you can do with your kids at Christmas and how to include them.

The first thing I would like to say, let them help you with everything or at least Sofi loved the idea of putting flour, eggs and of course she loves to rub it on her head and try everything too.

The second is to find a comfortable place where they can feel safe and you too, give them their own products and let them mix the ingredients. Sofi loves to help and do exactly what mommy is doing.

Third enjoy, play some music or sing your favorite songs while you prepare your recipe or just give hugs with your hands full of flour like Sofi does.

Sugar Cookies

1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons baking powder
23/4 cups of flour

Mix butter and sugar
Mix all dry ingredients and add slowly to butter mixture until it is all mixed tt ogether
Roll dough out on lightly and cut out the shapes you want
Bake at 400 degrees for 7 - 10 minutes
Should be light in color with light bit of brown on the edges.

Sprinkle pancake is something that Sofi loves so much, she is excited when we have this for breakfast, she always wants to help me make it and your kids will love it too so here is the recipe for these fun pancakes.

Happy Holidays !
